DJ caddie

A DJ caddie: it knows your crates and hands you the right one.

A golf caddie doesn’t swing for you — they hand you the club you reach for on this hole. Deck Caddie is a DJ caddie for Serato DJ Pro and rekordbox on Mac: it watches what’s playing and hands you the next record from your own library and gig history, to drag straight onto a deck. Offline, with nothing uploaded.

What a DJ caddie does

Knows your bag
It learns from the transitions you've actually played, the crates you built and the keys you gravitate to — never a global crowd.
Reads the moment
It follows Serato's now-playing live, so the suggestion fits the record on the floor right now.
Hands you the right one
Every pick is a track you already own, ready to drag onto a deck — and it keeps a few fresh ones in the mix so you don't rut.

DJ caddie, DJ caddy, DJ copilot — same idea

You may have found us as DJ caddie, DJ caddy, Deck Caddy or Serato caddie. It’s the same product. If you think in terms of a copilot instead, read what a DJ copilot is or how Deck Caddie works as a Serato copilot or as a rekordbox copilot. To see it next to the alternatives: the best Serato copilots, compared.

Not to be confused with unrelated products and people who also use the name “DJ Caddy” (such as e-bike racks, golf caddies or DJ profiles). Deck Caddie is only the Serato / rekordbox panel on this site.

DJ caddie FAQ

Is “DJ Caddie” the same as Deck Caddie?

Yes — people search for it as DJ Caddie, DJ Caddy, Deck Caddy or Serato caddie. They all mean Deck Caddie: a floating panel for Serato DJ Pro or rekordbox on Mac that tells you what to play next, from your own library.

What does a DJ caddie actually do?

Like a golf caddie, it doesn't play for you. It watches what's on the deck and hands you the record you'd reach for next, with the reason (“played after this 14× · key 7A · rested 8 months”). You drag it onto a deck and stay in control.

Is it the same as a DJ copilot?

It's the same idea with a different metaphor: a caddie for your crates, a copilot for your set. Deck Caddie is both — it suggests, you decide.

Is it connected to other products called DJ Caddy?

No. Other unrelated products and people use the name “DJ Caddy” too (for example e-bike racks, golf caddies and DJ profiles). Deck Caddie is only the DJ-software panel on this site, and it isn't affiliated with Serato or rekordbox.

Which DJ software does it work with?

Serato DJ Pro on macOS (full support) and rekordbox 7 on macOS (beta). It runs offline, never uploads your library or play history, and has a free trial of 3 full gigs with no card.
